Account & data deletion
Delete your wyou account
You can permanently delete your wyou account and all of its data at any time. There are two ways to do it — pick whichever is easier for you.
Delete from inside wyou
- Open wyou and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Privacy.
- Tap Delete My Account and confirm.
Request deletion by email
Email hello@nixify.app from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account.” We'll verify it's you and process the request. No app required.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile (name, email, sign-in identity).
- Your drawings, doodles, and love letters.
- Daily-question answers, mood check-ins, milestones, lists, and reminders.
- Your pairing/invite code and shared couple content.
If you're paired, deleting your account also removes the shared content and returns your partner to an unpaired state — their own account stays intact.
Timing & what may be kept
Your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days of the request. A small amount of information may be retained where the law requires it (for example, payment or transaction records), and is held no longer than needed to meet that obligation.
